Welcome to the Physics Department home page! Though Sterling College does not offer a major in Physics, several other majors benefit from courses offered by the department.
     Courses in Physics fill requirements for several majors, from Biology to Mathematics to Secondary Education. A course in the physical sciences (Physics or Chemistry) is required for all students through the Sterling College General Education requirements.
     Physics coursework prepares students for graduate study or careers in such areas as: medicine, engineering, meteorology, computer science, chemistry, mathematics, and many more!
