Jeremy ’99 & Amy ‘00 (Wikoff) Rogers with  Easton, 1-yrs-old  in Independence, MO

Jeremy and Amy moved to Independence about a year ago now and while the KC area is okay, they’d much prefer to get back to their families who are in the Wichita and Hutchinson area.  Still, they are making the best of it.  Jeremy is currently the Recreation Program Supervisor – Aquatics and Sports Administration for the City of Independence Parks & Recreation. Whew!! Just the title makes me tired!  Amy works part-time as secretary at a local church.  Amy’s sister is Lori (Wikoff) Zachary ’00.

Rocky Supinger ’98 & Meredith Clayton ’98 –  Riverside, CA

I had dinner with Rocky & Meredith there in downtown KC!  It was great to see my classmates doing great.  I learned that if you don’t want your cats to sit on your furniture (or anywhere), you just cover the area with sheets of foil and the cats will leave it alone!  I must admit, when I entered their apartment and saw the foil, I first thought of Mork & Mindy.

Not long after I arrived, I learned that Rocky & Meredith were at the beginning of a big transition phase.  Rocky was preparing to resign his position as pastor of St. Matthew Presbyterian church in Grandview, MO.  And, Meredith was about to finish her residency in General Pediatrics at Children’s Mercy Hospital.  In 2007, they moved to the Riverside, CA area where Meredith started another residency in Preventive Medicine and will also obtain her Masters in Public Health in Global Health at Loma Linda University.  Last I knew, Rocky was looking for a pastoral position in the area. They can be reached: rocky.meredith@gmail.com

Everything was okay at Bev’s house until I stepped on her cat’s tail!  Screeech!!! I felt so bad!  Bev uses her gifts of hospitality to run a special bed and breakfast in the basement of her home.  She makes it available to pastors and those in ministry needing a retreat and a place to rest.  Beverly enjoys being able to serve and minister to those in ministry in this way.  She lives in her home with her husband, Rick.   They have one daughter.
