Jack Dillard is in his fourth season as the Head Men's and Women's Cross Country & Track Coach at Sterling College. During his short time at Sterling, Dillard has begun to build a quality cross country and track program.

In the past three seasons, Dillard has made both men's and women's programs more competitive in the KCAC. His women's team finished 4th, 2nd and 4th respectfully in the last three KCAC cross country meets. In 2004, the men's team finished 6th and has taken advantage of red-shirting the past two seasons. While under Dillard the cross country teams have produced three All-KCAC runners and 4 HM-KCAC runners. There has also been one All-Region runner as well as NAIA National Qualifier.

In track and field, both teams have more than doubled in size and competes at a more competitive level. Dillard's 2007 Men's and Women's team finished 7th and 5th at the KCAC meet, and only look to get better as they gain more experience. The men scored 22 more points in 2007 compared to 2006, while the women managed 40.5 more points compared to the previous KCAC meet.

In track, Dillard has coached 22 All KCAC performers and 28 honorable mention performers over the past three seasons. Also under his guidance Sterling has seen 3 NAIA National Qualifiers and four new school records set.

Jack is a 2003 graduate of Sterling College where he doubled majored in Computer Science and Business. He also was a four year letter winner in both football and track during his time at Sterling. Jack graduated from Wichita State University in the Spring of 2006 with his Masters in Sport Administration.

Dillard was a two time All-KCAC selection in football his junior and senior seasons, when he led the team with 5 interceptions each year. He finished his career with 12 interceptions. In 2002, he was selected by his teammates as Team Captain, Most Valuable Defensive Back, and Most Inspirational Player.

As a runner at SC, Jack ran everything from the 100 to the 400, as well 400 hurdles and long jump. He was two time HM-KCAC in the 400m his junior and senior seasons.
