The primary functions of the Sterling College Student Government Association are to provide guidance to student functions, facilitate relations between students and the college, assist the college administration with insight for institutional improvement and ensure the rights of all students. All students enrolled at Sterling College are members of the Sterling College Student Government Association.
     The SGA, Stir (Newspaper), Round-Up (Yearbook) office is located off the Fireside Lounge of the Sterling College Student Union. Regular office hours are posted and will be kept by SGA executive cabinet members.
     The Association's governing body, the General Assembly, meets the first Wednesday of each month in the Chandler Board Room. Clubs, classes, and halls each select a representative to the assembly. General Assembly members, meetings, and minutes will be posted. Only representatives have voting privileges, but all are welcome to attend.
