Sterling College Online RadioPurpose/Mission

To contribute to the greater community of Sterling College through broadcasting programming tied to the College’s mission.

Constitution

Article I: Name
“ Broadcast Club” will be the preliminary name until the organization comes up with a new name.

Article II: Purpose
Web radio will contribute to the greater community of Sterling College, as well as enhance the image of Sterling College through broadcasting.

Article III: Members
Members can be anyone, however on-air talent is required to enroll in Broadcast Lab.

Article IV: Officers
The officers of the organization will include president, secretary, and treasurer. They will be elected at the initial meeting of each school year and will serve unless there is a failure to perform duties. The General Assembly representative will be any officer.

Article V: Meetings
Initially officers will meet every Friday, as station progresses DJ’s and other members will be needed at weekly meetings.

Article VI: Quorum
Until spring semester 2005, the only people required to have quorum are the officers. In the spring, the organization will require all on-air talent to meet weekly.

Article VII: Amendments
Elected officers or those within the club who have a valid claim may amend the constitution.
