Extracurricular Activities

Sterling College offers a variety of extracurricular activities that provide scholarships including 12 varsity sports, theatre, forensics and music. The Sterling College admissions team has a specific recruiter in your activity area that can work with you.

We also have an active and contemporary praise band that plays at all of our Sunday evening chapel services. For information about the praise band and when you can try-out, contact the chaplains office.

Sterling College Theatre:

The theatre department opens each year with a musical during Homecoming weekend. Throughout the year there are senior directed shows, a department show in the Spring, and the department ends the year with a night of One Acts in May.

Habitat Fellows:

The Habitat program is in partnership with Habitat for Humanity International. This program trains students in servant leadership and social entrepreneurship and graduates intern with Habitat for Humanity International upon completion of the program. Check out our Habitat pages for more information.
