Visit Weekends

During the school year we will have two Campus Visit Weekends; both begin on Sunday evening and end on Monday noon.

Campus Visit Weekends could be beneficial to you, as it will give you a chance to experience various departments and activities. Available will be a class visit or visiting with a professor in your chosen major, tours of the campus and downtown Sterling, and a Financial Aid presentation.

The Campus Visit Weekends will be offered on November 18-19, 2007 and January 20-21, 2008. To sign up for either of these Campus Visit Weekends, please click on the date you are interested in or call our toll free number and ask to speak to Admissions at 1-800-346-1017.

The College

Sterling College is a four-year, Christ-centered liberal arts college located in Sterling, Kansas, with a mission "to develop creative and thoughtful leaders who understand a maturing Christian faith." Founded in 1887, the College embraces an emerging vision to serve God's world through servant-leadership training, the nation's first undergraduate program in Social Entrepreneurship and the development of future leaders through partnerships with Habitat for Humanity International, World Impact and other world- changing organizations.

Campus Visits

One of the great things about the size of Sterling College is that we can cater to your individual needs. You can visit campus on a Visit Weekend, or you can have your own personal Visit Day. Your parents, brothers, sisters, even your grandparents, aunts, and uncles are welcome to come with you!

Here’s how SC Campus Visits work. Choose a date. Weekdays are the best days to see the campus in full swing, however, we do welcome visitors on Saturday as well.

We will set up appointments for you to visit with professors and the Financial Aid folks. If you'd like to talk to athletic coaches or performing arts directors, we can arrange that too! Of course you'll talk to Sterling students and have lunch on us. To request a campus visit, you can complete our online form, call 1-800-346-1017, or email admissions@sterling.edu. In order for your visit request to be confirmed, a Sterling College Admissions Counselor must contact you. After our Counselor has spoken with you to confirm your visit, it will be our pleasure to schedule appointments and a tour specifically designed for your interests.
